44 Degrees is Beautiful!

The creeks are flowing.

I am not sure if 44 degrees has ever felt so wonderful.  As I left school today the sun was shining (it still is!) and the ice was melting. This winter seemed worse than most.  Despite the little snow accumulation, the sub-zero temperatures hung on for far longer than ever necessary.  Hopefully the spring weather is here to stay; let’s keep our fingers crossed!

When Gunder and I had eaten our snacks, we decided to take Chester outside for some fresh air.  I love watching the fascination on Gunder’s face when he sees new things and explores the new outdoor world.  The cold wind was a little biting, but we managed to spend about twenty minutes wondering around the street in front of our house (it is about the only dry ground).

Happy to be out of the house!

Enjoy the sunshine,
The Displaced City Girl
