A Sangria in a Solo Cup Kind of Night

As you know, little goes on for excitement around these parts. Oddly enough, when something fun is scheduled, it seems like ten other things are also going on. Tonight is one of those nights.
This morning, we planned to get a sitter, but I put her off until 7 because I knew the guys wouldn’t be done hauling pairs. Well, I was right. It is a quarter to eight, and I’m riding shotgun in the Duramax with my high-heeled Earthies on and a solo cup of Sangria in my hand (heck, it’s S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y night!). Life on a ranch rarely runs perfectly smooth, but boy is it fun. 🙂
Anyway, the cattle have been hauled to pasture. The trailers are being unhooked, and maybe we’ll still get a decent dinner.
Happy Weekend to All of You!
