FroYo, Pancakes, & Antique Tractors

These are a few of my favorite things…

My family  (including Chetboy) loaded up in the van and headed towards the big city yesterday. It was fabulous. We shopped at Target and treated ourselves to some frozen yogurt at Cherry Berry. We then spent the night at my sister’s farm with her family and my parents. It was so good to all be together.

This morning, my sister and the boys mixed up some homemade pancakes while my brother-in-law cooked up the rest of the breakfast feast. My boys totally adore their time with aunts, uncles, and cousins.

After filling up on breakfast we all traveled over to Andover, SD, for their annual threshing show. It was so cool! There were so many old tractors; my favorites were of course the Ford 8Ns. The boys were given a ride in a Ford Model T which was very cool and something I have never done (my dad is a Model A collector).

Yes, my sunglasses are really that crooked. Oops.

And no trip is really official until we take a trip to the ER. Our older son whacked his head on one of the tractors that he was looking at and ended up needing a couple staples in his scalp.

God is so good and fills our life to the max. Jesus promised us an abundant life, and let me tell you, ours is definitely abundantly filled with all kinds of crazy and wonderful things.

Thanks for reading,
